It's Do Or Die for the LA Lakers tonight. Their backs are up against the wall being down three to two with the Oklahoma Thunder. They just blew too many games at the last minute. As to the LA Clippers they are gone - - done in by the San Antonio Spurs. And the LA Kings have been put on hold temporarily from going into the Championship by the Phoenix - - and let's hope Stepheno's friends at the CIA don't do something to fix the game. Austin Reed considers it Do Or Die for his marriage now and wants to waste no more time. Little does he know that his head is already on the chopping block and his wife is holding the axe in her hands. Some might think when it comes to play-offs or marathon dances or whatever- - it's easy to win because all you have to do is "Not Lose". Jesus Christ made this logical error. When the pharicees suggested he use his power to get off the cross they were not "mocking' him. I'm not gay but this assertion of the pharicees here is an insult to every homosexual out there as well as every person everywhere who has ever been bullied. Jesus exhibited pretty much NO empathy for any person who had ever been bullied by the more powerful. You know in the Police Departments their motto is "Protect and Serve" and I imagine the Military has a saying very much like it. They don't have the option of "not losing" when they are in battle. They literally have to act- - and in a timely manner. For a soldier it literally IS "do or die". ABC news is doing this thing on teenage bullying thing right now- - with a thirty day sentense for the perpetrator- - the voyer. You know if it were a woman he'd been making love to she might have actually sued him- - for major bucks- - and won. But since it's another man some have suggested the Judge in the case "sent a message" just as Jesus "sent a message" to those pious Jews (and I use the term in its most honorable sense) He said "No" to their requests that he pull himself down off the cross. Some would say "Well they need to have their faith tested". I see it rather differently. WHICH act would give those Jews More Faith- - staying on the cross and dying or pulling yourself off the cross and surprising them all? The later would make a lot more Believers and a lot Stronger- - Believers. And if there is one thing the Bible praises in the New Testament is developing Strong - - Believers. So in Jesus denial of that "save yourself' request- - Jesus is actually denying stated scripture in the Bible. (Selah)
I was just spot checking in the past and I happened on April of 2008 when things were a whole lot better in my life- - that's for sure. I talked like a guy who had just watched "Yet another debate where Hillary Clinton wiped the mat with Senator Obama". From the tone of I words I seem convinced in my mind then that Hillary would overtake Obama in the race for the Democratic Nomination. Hillary even seemed to have the inside track with the Super-deligates. Obama was awkward and defensice and all together rather Ronney-esque in his performance that night, it seems. Now just tonight ABC news is pressured to back down on the whole military "campaign" against Romney. It's kind of like several days into the Normanday Invasion- - after our side had lost a lot of men but it was worth it because we secured the ground. But now the equivelent of a fictional UN or maybe a CIA agent of Stephano Di Mira says "It's unfair. You are actually Winning now. THAT isn't supposed to happen! You have to give the land back!" So if Hillary had the issues and won in head to head debates with Obama, and had the more experiance, and had the support of the super deligates- - and also had the psychological momentum in having won most of the heavily populated states- - - how come "The Media" was saying that Obama had it sewed up by February like Randy Rhodes did? Is all of life just a fixed crap game or what. I'd like to know in that primary race of 2008 "What the Hell Happened?"
Allright - - if I've talked about this too much lately just tap me on the shoulder and tell me and I'll lay the topic aside for a while. But I'd like to discuss the different between a real Prophet - - and just another Media Icon. People like Ed Schultz and Thom Hartman In fact I would not want Thom Hartman so big that he actually 'qualifies" to make the Nightly News. Someone like Robin Gibb can pull it off successfully without any Ego problems, but then again - - He's Dead! None of us likes the adage however of "A tree is best measured when it is down". Hopefully we can secure a little Reward for our labors before then. But the idea of some Thom Hartman fan club with T shirts and trinkets and Thom Hartman cigarette lighters and whatever- - these things would ill serve him. Jesus can do that if he wants to with Chuck Smith as his Colonel Parker. That's all Calvary Chappel is is a merchantizing device. Ed Schultz and Thom Hartman are too smart to run for political office because for them it would be like taking a demotion. You know, I imagine that John the Baptist LIKED preaching out in the desert because it meant the people had to come to HIM rather than he risk "contamination by the world" going to them. So it's like the guru on a mountain or as Paul would say, "The Fool on the Hill". You GO to HIM and in this way you show a little volition and not having had religion served up to you on a silver platter. (I hope John the Baptist doesn't have any lingering memories of heads on silver platters) And indeed in our defense of Gnosticism one of the things we said about is that "God cannot come down and partake of our nature". Perhaps I have told you (like an old man like Grandpa Simpson I fear telling the same stories over and over again) one time in the summer of 1987 of this bird out in the road just walking around. It didn't appear to be wounded but it was like some cat or something that acted like "Who- - ME move? - - get out of the way?" Well I thought of that sermon example of becoming a bird to tell him of the danger. But then my higher self intervened "Marcus what are you talking about? If you became just Like that bird- - you would be just as Stupid as He is". So it's like that Dylan song of "Rather than bring you up- - they just want to drag you down into the hole that he's in". Bob Dylan also said (in the same song I believe) "You should know that it is not He or She or It that you Belong to". This was the message of John the Baptist. The Jewish Heritage is not the exclusive of either King Herod or the Temple Authorities. These are vanities of the flesh. Indeed I believe it was Crestus the "Egyption" who said, "And I will give you a sign. Tear down this temple and in three days I shall raise it up". Many apparently quoted this as him saying 'I will tear down this Temple made with Hands and raise one up Not made with hands". I can't exclude this from being a kosher quote because there are Jews who believe just this. Even today there are those who are cool on the idea of a Secular Israel because they believe that when the Messiah has arrived, the Perfect will supplant the Imperfect. This is a lofty concept the Tea Party people hasn't quite grasped. The thing is that "The Egyptian" may have believed NOT that Isiah said he would undergo death but that "He would be reconed as dead by his generation" and "The Lord will prolong his days". I defy you to see ANY application of this scripture that Doesn't mean that a man's natural- - and I said natural life was extended. Abraham according to some believed that "God wouldn't let him down" just as Alice Horton and her living counterpart Hope Brady believed "Stephano would not let her down" even though you had to be cryptic to catch the "escape door" and go through it and secure a lasting Victory.
Just call this paragraph "The Alternate Takes" like the Elvis Sun Sessions Record. And now we begin: We had hamburgers and
French fries for lunch - - with lentel soup I dumped pepper in. We had fruit.
I told John that so often on Mondays we are pressured to eat our
cheeseburgers fast to hurry on and get into Dr. Levy’s class. It’s almost the anniversary of Dad going to
Dr. Taggie at St. Jude hospital for an examination about his ulcer to get
another opinion and the doctor told us all how sick Dad was and had to be
hospitalized. I think my whole “frame of
reference’ and self image took a turn for the adverse in the first half of 1966
so in retrospect that has to be called a bad period, even though at the time I
didn’t see the full significance of the events like a counselor telling Mom
that my school teachers, all except for Coach Francen in gym class- - saying that
“Marcus had definite psychological problems”.
I mean even Miss Davis, who “I thought was my friend”. We are now on page five. What do you call an alligator wearing a
vest? They call it an Investigator. Thank you, Ellen Degenerous. Google plus had a silly video between a man and
a woman, and also a preview of the movie “Star Wars – The Old Republic” and
also game applications for Star Wars now.
I also corrected a minor glitch in “Giving out Directions” as well as added
another saying or two. This is after
dinner. Eye Witness news is on. Apparently there are not that many “public”
postings in Google, if what I saw is an example. Donnie had tuna sandwiches for us. Dr. Oz had a lady who teaches people to talk
to their dead relatives. Then there was
a segment on flip-flops and orthopedic science.
Then I went outside and then had David Cruise on a little.
This is Tuesday mornings and now Los Angeles only has one play-off professional sports contender after having had three just a couple days ago. We can all rout the LA Kings on and hope they go all the way. Those of you familiar with this flicker photograph know we goosed up the color even more than it already was, and there is one other change you "secret message" fans of "The Wall" just might pick up on. You know- I think Pink was playing a little mental ping pong with John Lennon or perhaps "Handball" is the more apt analogy. I think our ideas were being funneled through "Pink" who served as some sort of contuit ot something back in 1966. In terms of that lady on Dr. Oz yesterday about contact with the Dead, I don't think you need to be Dreaming to contact the Dead. Indeed my dreams have had nothing to do with contact with the Dead. I dream about dead relatives from time to time but I don't ever feel as though I've had 'fresh personal contact with them".
