Russian President Vladimir Putin is a tough but thin-skinned leader who
is squandering his country's potential, former U.S. Secretary of State
Hillary Clinton said Wednesday, a day after she likened his actions on
the Crimean peninsula of Ukraine to those of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s. Clinton, a potential 2016 presidential contender, warned during her a
speech at the University of California, Los Angeles, that "all parties
should avoid steps that could be misinterpreted or lead to
miscalculation at this delicate time."
Putin has said he was protecting ethnic Russians by moving troops into Crimea. Clinton said Tuesday at a closed fundraising luncheon in Long Beach that
Putin's actions are similar what happened in the Nazi era in
Czechoslovakia and Romania. "Now if this sounds familiar, it's what Hitler did back in the '30s,"
Clinton said, according to the Press-Telegram of Long Beach. "Hitler
kept saying, 'They're not being treated right. I must go and protect my
people.' And that's what's gotten everybody so nervous." Responding to a question submitted at the UCLA talk, Clinton said she
was not making a comparison although Russia's actions were "reminiscent"
of claims Germany made in the 1930s, when the Nazis said they needed to
protect German minorities in Poland and elsewhere in Europe. "The claims by President Putin and other Russians that they had to go
into Crimea and maybe further into eastern Ukraine because they had to
protect the Russian minorities, that is reminiscent of claims that were
made back in the 1930s when Germany under the Nazis kept talking about
how they had to protect German minorities in Poland and Czechoslovakia
and elsewhere throughout Europe," she said. "I just want everybody to have a little historic perspective. I am not
making a comparison, certainly. But I am recommending that we perhaps
can learn from this tactic that has been used before," she said. Clinton said Putin is trying to "re-Sovietize" the periphery of Russia
but is actually squandering the potential of his nation and "threatening
instability and even the peace of Europe."
Let me recapitulate something you just learned this morning. If you plan to sue a doctor for gross mal practice in California, forget it. You have no rights. The most you will EVER get is $250,000 - - because due to inflation the figure has shrunk to less than a fourth its former size in California over the ensuing decades. People who tell you that "Tort Reform" will cut costs - - Lied to you. Because we have it here in California and prices have skyrocketed here just like everywhere else. They say if you're going in for a prostate exam and such- - the "watch and wait" approaches has maybe fifty percent higher deaths than immediate surgery. The question is do you want to have "fifty percent more than neglegable" chance of dying prematurely- - or - - would you rather have the surgery and be completely Impotent and perhaps Incontenant for the rest of your life? The decision is up to you. We know that the insurance companies rather than cutting their rates for this sudden windfall, just pocketed the difference as profit. In truth, you don't even NEED mal practice insurance in California if $250,000 is your maximum risk because I bet good doctors earn several times that ammount in a year. It's just another "cost of doing business".
A lot of you were reading in this blog a week ago even though I wasn't currently doing new material in it. So at least my writings are good for something. You have learned recently that if you're on a social network like Facebook or Twitter that - - the government can access your account not just to spy on you but to go after you personally by planting false stories and perhaps false Charges against you it may consume a lot of your funds to hire an attorney and defend yourself against. You know that as to Rich verses Poor in any legal case that the Rich have an untold advantage. Thus you know that "looking out for the little guy" is not just some socialist sentament as Rush Limbaugh would have you to believe, but it's essential for Equity to pervail itself that the Poor need (but don't get) just as skilled an Attorney as the Rich have by right of birth. You know they are going after your Vote (by disenfranchising you) because at this point it's you one Weapon left, and they want to take it away from you. You know the adage of how "Injustices are put up with as long as such injustices remain sufferable". But there comes a time when you have to take Stronger Measures. The Declaration of Independance states that "When a government becomes distructive of these ends" meaning, Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness- - then men must take it upon themselves to overthrow that government and institute New Government. (Meditate on these words)
The changes in the SAT really suck. It seems they are dumbing down the test so more ghetto people into college as well as insuring that the really smart, gifted students will NOT be recognized and NOT have their day to shine. "Stupid Is As Stupid Does". The wrong answer penalty is an absurd move tword score inflation right off the bat making comparison of scores meaningless. Filtering out difficult words and difficult math is also a horrible mistake. People don't trust the SAT scores anyhow because they are already so tainted because teachers give students "cheat sheets' to study for them or whatever it is they do now. These changes will only make it all the worse, and even more meaningless as a predicter of grades.
We give you that "Something else" in our writings. We speak of cosmic entities, many of which might be deemed as Evil or "working contrary to our interests". Do you know them and each of their personalities? For instance did you know the Sutterans are the worst. Do you know about the Edomites also called Idumians, and also the Beta Centaurians? People hope and pray that just because you perceive something is Evil- - and I might be in total agreement with you- - - just "Being Evil" in itself seems not that big of a handicap in prospering in this or the next life. Much of what is going on in government now in the United States is - - Evil. There really isn't a nicer word for it. The trouble is that - - unlike what the Born Again Christians will tell you - - you can't be assured that running to the safety and security of their God, will afford you protection from Evil. For instance- - you may remember the scene in Rosemary's Baby where that leading Actor in a play was suddenly struck with Blindness. Can, therefore that man call up the Jesus Christ Show and pray for Faith to get a healing because just as suddenly as his ailment came upon him, he'd like to just see it go away, like it was never there. Will Neil recognize Evil when he sees it? Or will he do what scripture forbids any Saint from doing of "Giving place to the Devil". Rather instead, won't Neil say to you that "God has a wonderful plan he wants to show you in the future and you will realize that this illness was a good blessing in disguise"? So like, is the only place God feels comfortable out in public is at a Halloween masked ball? You already know it's a bad thing because a Beta Centaurian or whoever, who practices Evil, grabbed up the part at your expense. But Neil doesn't care about that. All Neil or too many pastors know is that "It's not MY ox that's being gored so what should I care? I have my own life to live, and I'm not going to allow Your problems to interfere with that". (Selah) Some may say to me "Well, who are you to talk, because some of your advice wounds a little Wiccan or something yourself". You know that Crestorians don't have any problem with Crosses. People who aren't "Joiners" lay themselves open to more "problems" down the line- - than those who ARE "Joiners".
