More Meaty Low-down on the Zimmerman Case

There are new developments in the Trayvon Martin trial today that at least I didn’t know.  Zimmerman claims that Martin was looking in everybody’s window and darting in and out from behind bushes and that Martin was “circling his car”.  He also stipulates that Martin bashed his head into the concrete “a couple of dozen times” and that he landed many punches on Zimmerman.  And apparently Martin straddled Zimmerman so that his arms were pinned back by his legs straddling him just below the arm pits.  One wonders, short of a strange anatomical build- - how Zimmerman could have gone for his gun.  One caller stated that you had to cock the gun first so that Zimmerman had to be prepared to fire.  According to Zimmerman in addition to having one hand over his nose and another around his throat,  he was holding a suspicious object with another hand, and with the other hand he was reaching for Zimmerman’s gun.  That’s an awful lot of hands.  But there is more.  It was the arresting officer who prompted Zimmerman to say that it was him screaming on the 9 – 11 tape.  He said “That’s you right there screaming”.  And Zimmerman’s response was “That doesn’t even sound like me”.  The medical examiner testified that Zimmerman had absolutely no head wounds consistent with anything Zimmerman stated was the case.  There were no “lacerations” and no wounds longer than a half a centimeter.  But I’m wondering whether we don’t have an exact parallel of the OJ jury in which they are bored by actual physical or medical evidence.  All they know is that “They want to even the score” and vote one for their race.  This theory will be pretty much confirmed if the jury takes only a short time to deliberate and render their verdict.  Because if they actually discussed this case the way they are supposed to they just might figure a few things out.  Keep in mind Zimmerman was not regarded as a suspect by the cops the same way that OJ was treated oh so deserentially when he was questioned about the crime for a mere forty minutes- if not less.  The way I hear it- - OJ was very polite and corgial to the police, and the police were corgial and thanked OJ for coming in.  Also Zimmerman was caught in another lie.  He told authorities that the 9 – 11 operator told him to “get to a certain location and see what was going on”.  There is no tape evidence of this.  Also Zimmerman apparently lied when he said "After I shot him I wasn't sure he was dead so I spread him out on his stomach with his arms spread out cop style".  But when the body was found the arms were tucked underneathe his chest.  To butress the Defence's argument that the Prosecution is inconsistent - someone said "We know the Prosecution isn't telling the Truth because one caller on the Randy Rhodes show lied about the exact wording of the line "We don't need you to follow him".  Too bad no callers to the Randy Rhodes show gave sworn testimony in this trial.

It would seem that Arab "Summer" follows the Arab "Spring", at least the one that occurred in early February of 2011 or something- - which is when Mubarek of Egypt fell.  Now the current President's days ruling that country are numbered and he's slated to step down today.  Accronis has begun doing it's thing, not to interrupt myself or anything.  But after this current President of Egypt steps down they say that the country will be plunged into Military chaos.  I haven't heard the tea party take on all this yet, but I imagine they'll manage to blame President Obama for it somehow.  It could well be that the military will just appoint another figure head president.  This is the most fortunate outcome we could hope for at this point.  The United States is officially remaining neutral.  Previously the Obama administration threatened to yank all those Millions we give Egypt every year, but now it appears the President is backing down.  (yet again)  Morrisy has been backed by the Moslem Brotherhood.  Now they are saying that the Military wants to dissolve the parleament entirely.  "Tomorrow we'll have a new leader".

Edward Snowden is as it were "snowed in" Moscow's airport.  It seems he's been applying for assylum to whole host of countries in the world, all of which have turned his down.  Some 29 of them have turned him down.  He's like an applicant vying to get into a prestigious college.  On the Mc Laughlin group there was a concencus that "We'll get him" and I hope we do because it will boost President Obama's numbers in the public oppinion polls.  Though given the way the Tea Party spins the news- - who can say?

Evers’ civil rights leadership and investigative work made him a target of white supremacists. In the weeks leading up to his death, the hostility directed towards him grew. His public investigations into the murder of Emmett Till and his vocal support of Clyde Kennard had made him a prominent black leader. On May 28, 1963, a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the carport of his home.[19] On June 7, 1963, Evers was nearly run down by a car after he emerged from the Jackson NAACP office.[13]     In the early morning of June 12, 1963, just hours after President John F. Kennedy's speech on national television in support of civil rights, Evers pulled into his driveway after returning from a meeting with NAACP lawyers. Emerging from his car and carrying NAACP T-shirts that read "Jim Crow Must Go," Evers was struck in the back with a bullet fired from an Enfield 1917 rifle; it ricocheted into his home. He staggered 9 meters (30 feet) before collapsing. He died at a local hospital 50 minutes later.[20]    Mourned nationally, Evers was buried on June 19 in Arlington National Cemetery, where he received full military honors before a crowd of more than 3,000.[14]  On June 21, 1963, Byron De La Beckwith, a fertilizer salesman and member of the White Citizens' Council (and later of the Ku Klux Klan), was arrested for Evers' murder.[21]

There have been other suspicious murders.  For instance Vince Foster is still a major question mark in my mind.  At the time there seemed to be extensive evidence it wasn't suicide.  The suicide note he left itself was suspicious because of the Wording of it, and a linguist or a forensic psychologist would have a field day.  Also there is a question mark as to the positioning of the body, or that the gun was still clutched in Fosters hand after he died.  People are pointing to some kind of a post mortum muscle spasm.  Then of course we have Marylin Monroe, who people was suspect was rubbed out by the Mob to shut her up because Robert Kennedy was sharing too many inside secrets with her.  Tomorrow is the 44th anniversary of the "Death by Misadventure" in the year 1969 of Brian Jones in his swimming pool.  On that July 3rd night it's alleged that the temperature of the water was cranked up suspiciously high to lull him into lethargy.  And he was under the influence and some say that people prevented him from exiting the pool but kept pushing him back into the water and he eventually passed out from exhaustion.

Here is the latest roomer on why Pope Benedict XIV really stepped down from the office of Pontiff.  It's because Benedict had a male lover and he was about to go public with the affair.  Some Magazine just published an article about this but now I forget the name of it.  It was one of the common ones, and perhaps you have already read this article.  John Paul II is getting closer to becomming a Saint.  I've heard the roomers for years that the Church wants to "fast track" Sainthood for this Pope.

If anybody has trouble finding that line about " - - and you will see the Son of Man coming with clouds and great glory"- - Jesus says it to the Priests at his trial when they ask him if he is the Messiah.  Not to put too fine of a point on it but in another place Jesus is addressing his desciples and says to them, "There are some standing here that will see the son of man coming in Glory.   And the apostle Paul uses the word "We" to describe "being caught up to meet Jesus in the air".  Sorry, rationalizers.  You can't get around this one that easily.

Yesterday Antonio Viragosa turned over the reins of mayoral power to Eric Garsetti, which is a vaguely Latin name also, but it’s more Italian.  The new mayor in a speech promised a new era of openness and “meeting with the people of LA”  Gay marriages are continuing.  The proposition eight people made one last desperate ploy to the Court for another “stay” but they didn’t get it.  Now I imagine the wedding planners will be working overtime.  But it will pay the dividend of bring more tax revenue to the State.   However I would remind Judy not to get too upset because this whole thing may be just another fad that will spend itself soon.  We are informed now that there are as many Latinos in California as there are White people, which I find almost impossible to believe.  Each comprises 39% of the population.  My understanding previously was that Whites were at 51% or so now and in danger of soon losing status.

Samantha Brady was not charged in the grand jury investigation after hearing Sammy’s personal testimony.  The cop widow is not at all happy about is and is vowing revenge.  But strangely Adrian doesn’t seem too happy about it either, even though it means a victory in court for her husband.  Christine’s and Samantha’s I Pads got mixed up, which could prove extremely embarrassing.  Nick Fallon offered Kate the next installment of his secret formula that Sammy and EJ know nothing about, but instead of being grateful she refused him.  It was pretty much of a total snub- with thrown in insults.  Nick has now gotten around to making talk of divorce with Gabriel official saying it’s on grounds of emotional fraud that even the Catholic Church would understand.  Meanwhile Will and Gabriel have had their first marital spat, of sorts.  I went down for Money Draw that Jennifer is still in charge of, just to drop off my check.  I did not ask for any money this week.  Wally let me go ahead of him, and the line was pretty non existent this week.  I hope Bill is getting paid now.  I went for just one cup of coffee from Laura.  I took two pieces of candy but it wasn’t until three that I went to the store to buy a pack of John Black grape and a baby blue lighter.
